Tri-City Trad organizes, creates, maintains, and supports many different organizations, events, efforts, and mindsets that promote participation in traditional music. We think we're doing pretty good work so far!

We're especially excited about an upcoming concert that Tri-City Trad is presenting: Matt and Shannon Heaton!

Tri-City Trad, in addition to concerts, does lots of music jams, some that we created, some that we took over, and some that we just love and advertise on the calendar page.
We have sings. We need to create more sings...that's on our list of stuff to do! You can help!
We created a new festival! Check out last year's Jam & Sing Thing page to see what we did, and what we'll try to do again! We also promote and participate in lots of festivals and camps in and around the Capital Region.
We want to promote music teachers - so we're putting together a page where folks can go to find someone who gives instrument lessons.
We want to promote individual, local, and up-and-coming musicians - so you'll see a FEATURED PERFORMER page on here every so often.
We want to promote ALL the traditional musicians in the area - so we're working on compiling and updating information from lots of sources to create one centralized resource for local musicians (that's going to be an ongoing project).
We want to keep coming up with new ways to keep people engaged and excited about playing traditional music together.
Check out our calendar and see what's coming up.
